Error = No time periods exist for this payroll currently 

Description = Got the above error while submitting an employee's Timecard in OTL. The error comes uopn hitting the "Continue" button after filling the values on the Timecard form. As the error states there are no periods that exists for the present date under the Payroll attached to this employee's assignment in HRMS. 

Error troubleshooting 

Step 1. First find out which time period is attached to this employee by navigating to the responsibility HRMS Manager > People > Enter and Maintain > Search by employee name 

Step 2. Once record retrieved then hit the "Assignment" button and look what is given under the Payroll field. In my case it was "Monthly" 

​Step 3. Under the same responsibility then navigate to Payroll > Description and then query using the Payroll name gathered above.

Step 4. Under the retrieved Payroll record hit the "Period Dates" button. In the new form scroll down records to the bottom and see whether there are any periods whose start and end dates falls within the current date. Chances are that you will not find any such period, and that's exactly why you are getting the above mentioned error.

Step 5. Now close this "Period Dates" form and in the previous form update the field "number of years" value. In my case it was 15 and I had updated it to 25 to accommodate the present date. Save the record. 6. Now go back to the Time-card Form and retry submitting. This time the error will not come.
