BNE:EXCEL is an invalid Viewer Key

How to reproduce the error

1. Navigate to General Ledger Vision Operations (USA) > Journals > Launch Journal Wizard
2. In the opened web-page, select a new document to create by accepting all defaults
3. Error is thrown

Investigation Done

The problem is caused by using an old responsibility. The 'Oracle Web Adi' responsibility has been superseded by the 'Desktop Integration' responsibility.

Resolution

1. To resolve the issue please assign the responsibility called "Desktop Integration". Then use the create document function from that responsibility.
2. The Desktop Integration responsibility should now be used for ALL Web ADI functions as documented in the Oracle Web Applications Desktop Integrator Implementation and Administration Guide.
